本研究通过合乎语法性判断和句子填充方法,调查了中国学习者对英语提升动词虚指主语的习得情况。结果发现:1)3个虚指主语的习得均未达到英语母语者水平;2)虚指主语there比提升和非提升结构虚指主语it难学;3)学习者对它们的句法语义知识的获得和运用发展不一致。这些发现不仅加深了我们对虚指词it和there习得难的理解,还加深了我们对提升动词习得的整体认识,对外语教学具有启示作用。
This study investigates the Chinese learners’ acquisition of the English target of improving the verb meaning of verbs through grammatical judgments and sentence filling. The results show that: 1) none of the three phantom subjects has acquired English native speakers; 2) the phantom subject there is more difficult to learn than the non-ascendant one; 3) the learners’ knowledge of the syntactic and semantic Inconsistent access to and use of development. These discoveries have not only deepened our understanding of the acquisition of imaginary terms it and there, but also deepened our overall understanding of the promotion of verbal acquisition and had an enlightening effect on foreign language teaching.
