2005年11月13日,全国人大常委会副委员长何鲁丽在温考察《劳动法》执行情况过程中,特意参观考察了康奈工业园。在走访了康奈车间、食堂、员工俱乐部及宿舍后,何鲁丽对康奈关注员工的举措表示了高度的赞赏。作为中国皮革行业的领军企业,康奈集团的成绩与4000多名员工是息息相关的。在全体员工中,90%以上来自外地,并且是青年人。他们追求的不再是纯粹的物质利益,精神食粮占了很大的比重。在保障员工物质利益的基础上,如何满足员工的精神需求,为员工打造一个舒适、温暖的家,一直是康奈集团高层思索的问题。用康奈的话来说,工作仅是管理内容的一部分,学习与生活也是公司管理内容的重要组成部分。
On November 13, 2005, He Luli, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, deliberated and inspected Cornell Industrial Park during his inspection of the implementation of the Labor Law. After visiting Cornell workshops, canteens, staff clubs and dormitories, He Luli expressed her great appreciation for Cornell’s attention to employees. As a leader in the Chinese leather industry, Cornell Group’s performance is closely linked with more than 4,000 employees. Among all the staff, over 90% are from overseas and are young people. They are no longer seeking purely material interests, spiritual food accounted for a large proportion. On the basis of safeguarding the material interests of employees, how to meet the spiritual needs of employees and create a comfortable and warm home for employees has always been a question for top-level thinking of Cornell Group. In the words of Cornell, work is only a part of managing content, and learning and living are also an important part of the company’s management.
