9月5日下午,民盟中央教育委员会和民盟北京市委教育委员会在民盟中央机关六楼大厅举行联欢拿,庆祝1989年教师节。一百多位在大、中、小学执教的盟员喜气洋洋地来到了自己的家共同欢庆节日。 2时许,费孝通主席、钱伟长、高天、叶笃义、陶大镛、冯之浚、丁石孙副主席等盟中央领导同志来到会场,和为培育祖国下一代而辛勤耕耘的园丁们亲切握手向他们致意,顿时掌声四起。
On the afternoon of September 5, the Central League Committee of the League and the Education Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Democratic League held a celebration party at the lobby on the sixth floor of the Central Organization of the Democratic League to celebrate the 1989 Teacher’s Day. More than a hundred members, coached at large, middle and primary schools, came to their home to celebrate the festival with joy. At about 2 pm, leaders of the Central Committee, including Chairman Fei Xiaotong, Qian Weichang, Gao Tian, Ye Duxiu, Tao Dakun, Feng Zhijun and Vice-Chairman Ding Shi-sun, came to the venue and shook hands with their gardeners, who worked hard to nurture the next generation of the motherland Greetings, suddenly applause everywhere.
