当代视觉文化的崛起日益使我们认识到“观看(看、凝视、扫视、观察实践、监督以及视觉快感)可能是与各种阅读形式(破译、解码、阐释等)同样深刻的一个问题”(1)。从建构论的视角来看,我们只能看见我们想看、能看、被允许看的东西。换言之,看什么,如何看,如何能看,如何被允许看与被看,这取决于文化的视觉表征。从结构主义对符号表意实践的阐释,到后结构主义对话语理论的分析,当代思想为文化的视觉表征问题提供了丰富的理论资源。从某种意义上说,
