Backscatter integration (IBS) is an acoustic quantitative method developed in recent years, which can quantitatively evaluate myocardial tissue characteristics based on the strength of the backscattered signal measured by ultrasound [1]. The aim of this study was to determine the myocardial damage and the backscatter in hypertensive patients by measuring the integral parameters of myocardial backscatter in normal and hypertensive patients with different myocardial configurations.
