龙凤图形既是华夏人民智慧的凝结,又是民族认同的象征。这两种图形与其他许多图形一样,曾一度是氏族权利的象征,但随着时间的推移和历史的进步,文化语境的变化,众多图形的形象或者涵义已经因为不合时宜而慢慢淡化,但龙凤图案却异化成为一种文化符号而传承下来,并越来越受到全世界华人的推崇,已然成为整个中华民族的代名词。文章正是从这点出发探讨不同文化语境中龙凤形象的运用,以及新文化语境下传统图案延续生命力的形式。
Dragon and Phoenix graphics are not only the condensation of Chinese people’s wisdom, but also a symbol of national identity. Like many other graphics, these two graphics were once symbols of the clan’s rights. However, with the passage of time and the progress of history and the change of cultural context, the image or meaning of many graphics has slowly faded out of time, It has become a synonym for the Chinese nation as a result of the alienation of dragon and phoenix patterns into a cultural symbol that is inherited and increasingly respected by the Chinese in the world. It is from this point that the article explores the use of the images of dragon and phoenix in different cultural contexts and the continuation of the vitality of traditional patterns under the new cultural context.
