While talking to some information systems managers who are using client / server technology, they talked about client / server technology not always being satisfied. In fact, they describe the bleak landscape. Such as “technology is not mature enough,” “not reliable enough” and “expensive” and so on. However, most information systems managers quickly pointed out that although the technology has many shortcomings in the growth process, they will still use it. For them, client / server is the only way to help companies adapt to market changes. The Standish GroupInternational, a consulting firm in Denise, Mass., Selected 41 IT executives from clients that already had clients / servers and ranked in the top 500 of Happiness magazine and organized them to comment.
