报道了发育在南海雷州半岛灯楼角滨珊瑚Porites lutea的热电离质谱(TIMS)铀系年龄,结果表明,该珊瑚礁坪共有7个年龄组,分别为:(7125±96), (6764±29),(5826±37),(5006±54),(2543±24),(1915±15)和(1513±22)日历年.50%的珊瑚年龄落在7200~6600日历年之间,表明此阶段为珊瑚礁发育的鼎盛期,也是海平面的相对稳定期和气候的最适期. 考虑到:(1)灯楼角礁顶面高出潮高基准面1.6~2.5m;(2)南海现代滨珊瑚生长于潮高基准面至少1.0m以下;(3)珊瑚礁顶部20~30cm礁体已剥蚀;(4)该地区自中全新世以来地壳沉降幅度可忽略不计,我们推断上述7个珊瑚生长年龄组反映了至少两期高海面(7200~5000和2500~1500日历年),并且高出现代海面至少2.9~3.8m.
(TIMS) uranium age of coral Porites lutea was reported in the Leizhou peninsula of Leizhou Peninsula in South China Sea. The results showed that there were 7 age groups in this coral reef: (7125 ± 96), (6764 ± 29) ), (5826 ± 37), (5006 ± 54), (2543 ± 24), (1915 ± 15) and (1513 ± 22) calendar years. Fifty percent of the coral ages fall between 7200 and 6600 calendar years, suggesting that this phase is the peak of coral reef development and also the relative stability of the sea level and the most suitable climate. Considering that: (1) the top of the lamp house crest is 1.6-2.5m above the tidal height datum; (2) the modern Nanhai coral grows at least 1.0m below the tidal level datum; (3) the top of the coral reef (4) The crustal subsidence has been negligible in the area since the Mid-Holocene, and we conclude that the above seven coral growth age groups reflect at least two high sea levels (7200-5000 and 2500-1500 calendars Year), and higher than the modern sea at least 2.9 ~ 3.8m.
