在清代沈阳城的历史上,光绪十三年(1887)建立的盛京医院有着十分特殊的文化意义。这家医院本是由英国医疗传教士建立的西式医院,在防病治病的理念和方法上与中国的传统医学迥然不同,但却能够在这座城市中长期存在下去,而且随着时间的推移,受到越来越多的沈阳市民的信赖和尊敬,并最终融入这个城市的社会生活当中。这一过程体现着东西方文化的某些方面,在这座城市里由冲突走向融合的变化,也成为清代盛京文化向近代演进
In the history of Shenyang in the Qing Dynasty, Shengjing Hospital, established in 1887 by Emperor Guangxu (1887), had very special cultural significance.
