近年来,在港口和海洋工程建设的迅速发展中,为削减波能的反射、改善港域及码头前的泊稳条件,国内外都在开展直立式消波岸壁的研究。此外,在波浪模型试验中,也广泛采用直立式消波器,以适应新的试验要求。为配合由美国引进的不规则造波机的使用,研制了一种多层透空直立式消波器。该消波器对不同波长的波都具有良好的消波性能,并具有体积小、不受水深变化影响等优点,而且还可以根据要求通过计算进行设计,为工程实践和模型试验提供了良好的消波设备。
