普通感冒是病毒引起的呼吸道常见病和多发病,在预防方面,迄今尚无一种比较理想的方法。我们曾用色甘酸二钠(DSC)水溶液滴鼻治疗普通感冒急性卡他期患者,疗效甚为显著(中华内科杂志20∶74,1981)。还发现DSC对感冒的预防,也有很好的作用。为了进一步鉴定DSC的预防功效,我们于1980年12月～1982年1月在某学校初中一、二年级及小学一、二年级的学生中,分别采用DSC与通常感冒用药进行感冒预防的对比观察,先后共预防74起,总计455人次。结果表明DSC组的预防效果显著超过其他组。现整理报道如下。
