培养学生的跨文化交际能力是英语课程的目标之一,英语教材作为学习的典型输入性材料是文化传承的重要媒介,也担负着培养学生文化意识和能力的重任。比较民国与现代初中英语教材中的传统文化,可以发现当今英语教材有关传统文化的内容配置不足。传统文化的存在是必要的,我国英语教材中包括的传统文化应该具有多样性,分布也需均衡,应增加显性地用英语介绍中华文化的内容。为此,课程标准的相关内容也需要做出更明确的规定。
The cultivation of students ’intercultural communicative competence is one of the goals of the English curriculum. As an important input medium for learning, English teaching materials are also an important medium of cultural inheritance. They also bear the heavy responsibility of cultivating students’ cultural awareness and ability. Comparing the traditional culture of the Republic of China and the modern junior high school English textbooks can find the content of the current English textbooks on the traditional culture is not enough. The existence of traditional culture is necessary. The traditional culture included in our English teaching materials should be diversified and distributed evenly. We should increase the content of introducing Chinese culture in English explicitly. To this end, the content of the curriculum standards also need to make more specific provisions.
