南洋劝业会在中国民族资本主义发展史上占有重要历史地位。以劝业会为纽带,海内外华人云集一地,既增强了民族的凝聚力、向心力,又促使社会化、组织化程度进一步加深,有利于工商关系的融合、交流和发展。海外华侨不远万里回国参赛,热心工商业的积极态度,在当时对开启民智、扭转世风极具现实意义。南洋劝业会引发了积极的社会效应,起到了开一时之风气,策异日之富强的作用,对推进中国社会的发展产生了重要影响。
Nanyang Quanyue occupies an important historic position in the history of the development of Chinese national capitalism.
