In order to automate the machining of general-purpose equipment, an end face rolling head device with constant clamping force was developed. In the housing 1 of the device (see the figure) there is mounted a thimble 2 that can only be moved along its own axis. The pin 12 couples the thimble to the drive sleeve 7 with a V-shaped groove at the left end. The sleeve rests on the end face of the inner ring 10 of the coupling sleeve which supports the rolling head 11. The pin 8 joins the outer ring 9 and the transmission sleeve 4.
