奥林匹克文化是体育运动与文化和教育相融合的产物。广义的奥林匹克文化是奥林匹克运动在实践过程中所创造的物质与精神财富的总和,包括奥林匹克运动的全部思想体系和活动内容,狭义的奥林匹克文化主要指奥林匹克运动对人的社会行为、内心世界的影响以及与之相关的各项文化艺术活动。归纳而言,奥林匹克文化的内涵体现在以下六个方面:团结友谊、公平竞争、和谐发展、重在参与、奋力体育以及为国争光。奥林匹克文化这样一个多义概念,折射出一种精神和理想,这也正是奥林匹克文化内涵的集中体现。
Olympic culture is a product of the integration of sports and culture and education. The broad Olympic culture is the sum total of the material and spiritual wealth created by the Olympic Movement in practice, including the entire ideological system and activities of the Olympic Movement. The narrowly defined Olympic culture mainly refers to the impact of the Olympic Movement on people’s social behavior and inner world As well as the related arts and cultural activities. To sum up, the connotation of Olympic culture is embodied in the following six aspects: uniting friendship, fair competition, harmonious development, focusing on participation, struggling for sports and winning glory for the country. The polygamy concept of Olympic culture reflects a kind of spirit and ideal. This is exactly the embodiment of the Olympic cultural connotation.
