石荠苧属药物具发汗解表、利湿止痒、理气止痛等功效,在长期使用过程中存在一定程度的名实混淆现象。自《本草拾遗》始载石荠苧以来,诸本草共收载19种石荠苧属药物。经查阅文献,对石荠苧属药物的原植物逐一进行考证可知此19种药物实际上为石荠苧属的5种植物,分别为石荠苧、石香薷、小花荠苧、粗齿荠苧、小鱼仙草。其中部分药物与一些中药及植物分类文献等所载植物学名有出入。

Some of these medicines have discrepancies with some botanical names contained in traditional Chinese medicine and plant taxonomy documents.
