根据立体X线电视成像原理,要在单只影像增强器上形成并区分左右两个物体像,需要二个X线源按一定的频率交替发射.采用二只普通二极X线管予以机械同步遮光是一种可以实现的方法,但装置复杂,不便调节,可靠性差.我们在研制立体X线电视系统中,采用二只栅控X线管,组装成栅控双三极管X线源,由电视系统电子同步控制.理论和实践表明栅控X线源不但小型轻便、稳定可靠、容易调节,而且具有辐射剂量低,对生物体破坏作用小等独特的优点,它在X线电视系统、快速X线照相以及其他需要严格时间控制的X线技术中有很大的应用价值.
