On November 28, 2001, the Science and Quality Department of the State Commission of Science and Technology of National Defense hosted the seminar on the standardization of the application of information technology in national defense science and technology in Beijing. More than 30 information technology and standardization experts from industrial group companies of nuclear, spaceflight, aviation, shipbuilding and weaponry systems participated in the seminar. At the meeting, Director Gao Zhiqiang made an important speech. He first summarized the research, manufacturing and management of information technology in the national defense science and technology industry
