With the implementation of the new curriculum reform and the development of the society, the Ministry of Education has become increasingly demanding for primary school studentsEnglish leing. However, there are many problems in the teaching of English in many primary schools of Lincang city, Yunnan province. In view of this, on the basis of the second author of the the? sis, Li Junxins practical experience in a local school there, Mangling primary school, this paper analyze the current situation and difficulties of English teaching in Lincang primary schools. Based on the analysis of the faculty, studentsleing abilities, teach? ing materials and curriculumssetting of English teaching in Mangling primary school, this paper points out the reasons for the problems in primary English teaching of Lincang city, and puts forward some improvement measures for primary school English teaching.
