This book is the second edition of “Fundamentals of Heat and Mass Transfer,” published by Frank P. Incropera and David P. De Watt, John Wiley & Sons, of Purdure University’s School of Mechanical Engineering. The book a total of fifteen chapters. The first chapter is preface, including physical reason and rate of change equation, the condition of energy conservation, heat transfer problem analysis: methodology and other seven sections. The second chapter introduces the thermal conductivity, including the thermal conductivity equation, thermal diffusion equation five sections. The third chapter is univariate steady state heat conduction, including flat wall, alternating thermal analysis, thermal conductivity with heat generated by six sections.
