1993年的冬天,我于树友园场偶得两个怪桩,树友是从梧州寻得再转与我,本文所述为其中的一桩。该桩身干细长,树根至顶端近四米,干径约三公分,整体呈藤状无过渡。干又分两段,右段几个弯曲属干段,那是在自然环境下,因山土不断崩塌,裸露的根慢慢形成了干,另一个大曲折的左段才是桩材实质的身段。整条桩三米多长都没一个枝托,直至树端才有稀疏的几个枝条,零零落落。这形状的桩材很稀见,我觉得它柔长的身干是一个亮点,以原状育好前端的枝杈也可能是一个另类的形体。
