心理语言学家和社会语言学家都指出,不管是在阅读还是口语理解过程中,不仅仅是语言知识本身发挥作用,只有在非语言要素的帮助下,一门语言才能被准确、有目的地传递出来,外语的学习尤其如此,非语言因素起着很重要的作用。中学英语教学的对象是中学生,因此就要求我们教师在研究教材的基础上,能够熟悉、了解这一阶段学生的个性和特点,包括学习上和心理上的。本文强调的就是非语言因素在我国英语课堂教学中的重要性,从上下文的理解和非语言现象两个不同的方面入手,并举了一些可行的实例。
Psychological linguists and sociolinguists have pointed out that whether in the process of reading or oral language comprehension, not only the knowledge of language itself plays a role, but only with the help of non-linguistic elements, can a language be accurately and purposefully This is especially true of the learning of foreign languages. Non-linguistic factors play a very important role. The target of middle school English teaching is middle school students. Therefore, we require teachers to be familiar with and understand the students’ personality and characteristics at this stage, including both study and psychology. This article emphasizes the importance of non-linguistic factors in English classroom teaching in China. It starts with two different aspects of contextual understanding and non-linguistic phenomena, and gives some practical examples.
