In July 1996, classmates from class three (5) and class (6) from Shanghai Kongjiang Middle School left their alma mater with a special collection of essays, “Chasing the Sun,” which was The gift given by Wang Yanyong, a senior teacher who taught them a three-year language class. This essay book brings together the 22 essay students of the two classes who have published 71 essays in 14 newspapers and magazines across the country in the past three years. After receiving this collection sent by teacher Wang Yanyong, we were touched by the love of Wang. In the past three years, Ms. Wang has recommended a large number of student works to various newspapers and periodicals. When his students are about to leave secondary school, he tries his best to compile and publish these works as a memorial to the students’ middle school era. We meet with Teacher Wang: In this year’s fifth issue of the “Chinese Self-Study” “Composition Composition” column, we will select some of the compositions in this book and ask Wang to write an article. Today, we published this group of essays. However, Teacher Wang could no longer meet with this magazine and could not write for us. In mid-February this year, 57-year-old Wang Yanyong finished his life. We hope that the publication of this group of articles not only means that we have a memory of Mr. Wang Yanyong, but also that the teachers and students receive benefits and inspiration from them.
