传统涵盖了一个主体自诞生以来沉积下来的思想,作风、信仰、风俗、习惯等因素。传统的基础上,后人在继承前人智慧的同时,如果只是直接沿用,那么这个传统便不会有任何发展。站在传统的基础上,注入当代人的思想,只有这样智慧才会得以延伸和发扬。列宾美术学院作为世界著名的美术学院之一,经过近300年的发展,逐步形成了具有俄罗斯特点,相对科学的写实绘画教育传统。尽管在各个历史时期,列宾美术学院存在着艺术思想的分歧,保守与变革始终在抗衡,但是其现实主义的写实教学传统没有变,并且一直延续下来,直到今天。
The tradition covers the thoughts, style, beliefs, customs, habits and other factors that have been deposited by a subject since it was born. On the traditional basis, the descendants, while inheriting the wisdom of their predecessors, will not develop any tradition if they are used directly. Standing on the traditional basis and injecting contemporary thinking, only such wisdom will be extended and developed. As one of the world famous art academies, Repin Academy of Fine Arts gradually formed a tradition of realistic painting and education with Russian characteristics and relative science after nearly 300 years of development. Although there are differences of artistic ideas in the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in various historical periods, the conservative and the reform have always been contending. However, the realist realistic teaching tradition has not changed and has continued until today.
