Many philosophers think many of the traditional philosophical issues arise from the misuse of everyday language, so the study of everyday language is only intended to eliminate the false problem in philosophy. Austen, on the other hand, is different from this. Although he often studies everyday language for this purpose, this is not the only purpose he wants to achieve. He believes that everyday language itself deserves to be studied in depth. Austen argues that it is precisely because of these subtle differences in ignorance of the usage of language that philosophical problems have prevented certain philosophical problems from being permanently addressed. He begins with feeling and analyzes the nuances of everyday language use of a series of concepts associated with the notion of feeling.
