我国改革开放十余年来，城市总体规划实践规模空前巨大。经过走出去，引进来，实践认识再实践等，相应的学术进展，也空前丰富。作者从研究土地利用与规划出发，根据其十余年规划实践，总结认识，检验筛选，对这些进展中与我国特点有关部分，从哲学、城市发展机制、城市发展目标及衡量思路、规划专业新进展、以及规划实施反馈等五个层次，近３０个方面，进行了综合分析。还对有关方面分别提出今后可能发展趋势和若干建议。
Over the past decade or more since China’s reform and opening up, the scale of urban overall planning has been unprecedented. After going out, introducing, practicing and practicing again, the corresponding academic progress is unprecedentedly rich. The author starts from the study of land use and planning, and summarizes his knowledge, tests, and screenings based on his more than ten years of planning practice. This section deals with the characteristics of China’s progress, from philosophies, urban development mechanisms, urban development goals and measurement ideas, and planning majors. Progress, and feedback on the implementation of planning, and other five levels, in nearly 30 areas, conducted a comprehensive analysis. It also proposes possible future development trends and several suggestions to relevant parties.
