According to the fifth order of 1969, Indonesia’s Ministry of Communications now increases its holdings of BB302 / BB303 diesel locomotives by another 16 units, bringing the total to 43 units. Manufactured at the Thyssen-Henschel plant, the four-axle diesel locomotive has a power of 850 kW and a weight of 44 tons. It has a shaft weight of 11 tons and a rail gauge of 1,067 mm. Powers and transmissions include MTU diesels, Bell cooling units, Voith hydraulic units, GWB cardan shafts and Henschel axle gearboxes with auxiliary drives driven by Henschel’s intermediate gearbox in the locomotive V-belt pass
