现代主流经济学把福利经济学纳入新古典主义的分析框架,集中于对少数社会现象的分析。森强调,经济学需要对人类福祉和社会价值判断作出回答,经济学只有与伦理学相结合才能更好地理解和把握住现实中的客观经济现象。森将伦理分析方法应用于社会制度安排而提出了评估平等或不平等的新思路,包括体现“生活内容”的福利平等和反映“生活内容束”的能力平等两方面。森把促进自由视为社会发展的主导性目的,并进一步分析了功能性的能力自由和权益性的生活自由。森不但关注物质财富的增长,更关注物质财富的分配,不仅关注人的物质福祉,更关注精神需求。森关注人的全面自由发展和社会平等问题,“能力”与“生活内容”也是其理论体系中的两个重要概念。
Modern mainstream economics incorporates welfare economics into neoclassical analytical framework and focuses on the analysis of a few social phenomena. Mori emphasizes that economics needs to answer human well-being and social value judgments, and economics can understand and grasp the reality of objective economic phenomena better only through a combination of ethics. Sen applied the ethical analysis method to the social system arrangement and put forward the new way of assessing the equality or inequality, including embodying the welfare equality of “content of life ” and the equality of ability reflecting “content of life ”. Sen regarded the promotion of freedom as the dominant goal of social development and further analyzed the functional freedoms of freedom and the freedom of living. Sen not only concerned about the growth of material wealth, but also more concerned about the distribution of material wealth, not only concerned about the material well-being of people, but also pay more attention to spiritual needs. Concerned about the comprehensive and free development of human beings and the issue of social equality, “power” and “content of life” are also two important concepts in his theoretical system.
