LTE(长期演进)和EPC(演进分组核心网)可以很好地满足下一代移动通信网络的各种需求。通过在上行、下行提供高速、低延时数据传输,从而可以为运营商提供高性能的移动宽带业务。通过Diameter更加灵活、可靠的AAA(认证、鉴权、计费)功能,EPC可以充分实现与GSM(全球移动通信系统)、WCDMA/HSPA(宽带码分多址/高速分组接入)、TD-SCDMA(时分同步码分多址)、CDMA(码分多址)技术甚至WLAN(无线局域网)等技术的互操作。文章重点介绍了EPC中Diameter协议的主要功能、消息格式以及EPC中基于Diameter协议的主要接口。
LTE (Long Term Evolution) and EPC (Evolved Packet Core) address the diverse needs of next-generation mobile communications networks. By providing high-speed, low-latency data transmission in uplink and downlink, operators can provide high-performance mobile broadband services. Through Diameter’s more flexible and reliable AAA (Authentication, Authentication and Accounting) capabilities, EPC can fully implement the GSM / GPRS / WCDMA / HSPA, TD- SCDMA (Time Division Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access), CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) technology and even WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) technologies such as interoperability. This article focuses on the main features of the Diameter protocol in the EPC, the message formats, and the main interfaces based on the Diameter protocol in the EPC.
