本钢5号高炉在2000年7月进行原地大修改造。随着钢冷却壁、炉顶煤气分析仪、中子测水等先进工艺设备的投入,我厂同时与芬兰RAUTARUUKKI公司共同开发了5号高炉专家系统高炉专家系统是应用人工智能技术。根据高炉冶炼专家几十年的工作经验,与计算机结合在一起,对高炉内部情况进行推理和判断,指导炉前工对高炉进行最优控制。高炉过程控制中最重要的因素是使高炉运行尽可能的稳定,但布料条件的改变、人为因素等原因时刻制约着高炉的稳定,本钢5号高炉专家系统在2000年10月正式验收投入使用后,任5号高炉生产过程中发挥了重大作用。
