摘 要:高清视频等大容量业务承载会极大消耗网络容量,挤占其他正常业务的服务资源,大幅降低网络承载能力。传统的网络将传输的数据量作为满足用户需求的核心指标,常规信息论围绕传输数据量建立了率-失真定理,表明在一定失真度量下,通信数据量无法突破收发端互信息量的下界,大幅降低通信数据量面临互信息量下界制约瓶颈。但衡量网络服务能力的根本是用户体验,而用户体验与网络传输的数据量并不成比例关系。换言之,如果仅仅传输与用户体验密切相关的关键信息(面向QoE的信息),则可从根本上减少通信的数据量以降低业务对网络的承载压力。该研究面向“大容量业务信息表征及协同计算通信模型”,将智能化引入无线网络领域,用计算及存储能力换取通信能力,将引发新的服务变革。引入智能化实现面向QoE的移动服务,其本质难题在于无线网络承载容量受限、移动终端能力受限,需要协同利用网络环境计算资源和分布式编码理论等。研究面向QoE的信息表征方法,探索协同利用网络计算资源与无线通信资源的分布式协同编码与计算通信理论,大幅提升受限无线带宽的服务能力。

Abstract:High resolution video will cost significant network throughput and degrade the network performance. The tranditional network throughput as the key index of user requirement cannot be satisfied anymore. The traditional communication theory show that under certain distortion function,communication will degrade its bottleneck. However, the user exprience is the fundamental of verifying the netowrk performance. And it will not be scle of the transmission data. In other words, if we just trasmit the QoE-based information, we can solve the problem of network throughput limitation. Out topic is trying to let wireless networks become smart. We will use compute and storage capability to change the communiation capability.There are serveral challanges need to be solved in this topic and we may need cooprate network communication resources and distributed cooprated coding and computer communication theory.
