According to the American Journal, Harold Libevitz was replaced by Kurdish in July this year (see Articles on pages 9 and 5 of this issue two times on page 76 of this issue) as the temporary agency of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering (NAE) Longtime William A. Woolf told the press recently that the United States Academy of Engineering needed a series of reforms. Ironically, however, he said these reforms will follow the path proposed by Leibovitz. He said it was correct that Libaiweitz pointed out the lack of openness of the institute and the extensive participation of academicians, except that Lippovitz sought to reform ineffectively, “and I will be truly committed to implementing the reforms.” He believes that one of the first issues that should be reformed is the issue of the nominating process for the NAE election - which is also the central issue that Libekowitz criticizes the leadership of NAE. Under the current system, the NAE Commission appoints a nomination committee, which in turn elects candidates for the NAE Commission, which is composed of the Dean, some other senior officials and 18 members.
