辅导员岗位对个人的职业发展、成长具有非常重要的推动作用。60多年来,无数少先队辅导员从平凡而又重要的少先队工作岗位上,成长为优秀的少先队工作者,有的走上中小学中层管理岗位,也有的成长为教育局、团委领导干部、当地行政领导。2009年4月至12月,全国少工委办公室开展了辅导员职业素质和成长路径课题研究,调查显示,辅导员岗位有以下五条重要的职业发展路径:一是中小学校长、副校长,二是中层管理干部,三是专业辅导员,四是学科骨干教师,五是少年儿童教育专家。因此,面对新形势、新任务,少先队辅导员应积极规划职业生涯,朝着优秀少年儿童工作者、教育家、名师、学校管理者等各个不同的路径实现职业发展,在更广阔的舞台上为党的少年儿童教育事业做出更大的贡献。
