词汇是语言中能自由运用的,最小的语言单位,体现了人们对客观世界的认识和态度,不同民族的词汇体现出跨语言的语义文化差异和语用文化差异,本文从认知语言学隐喻和转喻理论在词汇文化内涵教学上的应用的角度进行初探,介绍了隐喻应用于词汇教学的理论基础及其作用:隐喻认知对词汇语义范畴发展的作用;隐喻认知在词汇隐喻概念理解中的作用。指出其对词汇教学的启示:重视基本范畴词汇的教学,重视词汇隐喻意义和隐喻扩展义的教学,和重视词汇文化内涵的教学,进而指导大学英语的教学。
Vocabulary is the smallest unit of language that can be freely used in the language. It reflects people’s cognition and attitude towards the objective world. The vocabularies of different nationalities show the cross-language semantic differences and pragmatic differences.
