满足医学影象临床诊断需要的无失真压缩编码技术的研究是图象压缩研究的新领域,也是PACS系统和远程医疗诊断系统研究的热点之一。该文提出将三维小波压缩技术应用于CT、MRI等所产生的多帧断层图象,把二维医学序列图象组视为三维图象进行了研究,并提出了一套完整的、切实可行的三维小波压缩方案。通过实验证明,三维小波压缩技术大大优于目前PACS中最常用的二维JPEG编码和二维小波压缩技术。
The research on distortion-free coding technology to meet the clinical diagnosis needs of medical images is a new field of image compression research. It is also one of the hot spots in the research of PACS system and remote medical diagnosis system. This paper proposes to apply the three-dimensional wavelet compression technique to multi-frame tomography images generated by CT, MRI and so on, and to consider the two-dimensional medical sequence image groups as three-dimensional images, and presents a set of complete and practicable Three-dimensional wavelet compression scheme. The experiment proves that the three-dimensional wavelet compression technology is much better than the most commonly used two-dimensional JPEG coding and two-dimensional wavelet compression technology in PACS.
