目前,一度闹得沸沸扬扬的河南省南阳市桐柏县公安局治安员打死人事件有了新的进展,据新华社报道,南阳市卧龙区法院对此案作出判决,由桐柏县公安局赔偿受害人家属30万元人民币。 法院经审理查明,1992年12月7日,南阳市某运输公司职工赵东升与两位同事到桐柏县送货期间,两同事和当地两名女青年发生争执并引发一场厮打。桐柏县公安局城关镇派出所接警后,将赵东升与另一同事带到派出所。派出所治安员胡某由于与争斗一方的女青年有亲戚关系,为给亲戚出气,胡某将赵东升暴打致死。
