冯文慈先生是一位深受学界尊重的学者。他在中国音乐史学领域中所取得的建树和学术影响,与他在学术研究上坚持求真务实的科学态度和严谨的学风是分不开的。追求真理,实事求是,在冯文慈先生的每一项研究和教学工作中都有具体而鲜明的体现。今天的中国音乐史学研究和建设依然需要勇气去提倡和保持“甘于清贫,甘于寂寞”的学风,坚决摒弃浮躁、虚夸的心理和行为。
Mr Fung Man-Tsai is a scholar deeply respected in academia. His achievements and academic influence in the field of Chinese music history are inseparable from his adherence to realistic and pragmatic scientific attitude and rigorous academic style in his academic research. The pursuit of truth, seeking truth from facts, in each of Mr. Feng Wenci research and teaching work have a concrete and distinct manifestation. Today’s research and construction of Chinese music history still need the courage to advocate and maintain a “willing to be poor, willing to loneliness” style of study, and resolutely abandon the impetuous, exaggerated psychology and behavior.
