溢洪道水面线推求的起始断面一般选择在闸室末端,为此,需要确定该断面的水深,目前常用的做法是假定该断面的水深为临界水深.进行了宽顶堰与下游连接坡为垂直、1∶1、1∶5、1∶10四种情况的水力学实验,实验结果表明宽顶堰与下游坡连接处的水深h均小于临界水深hk,h/hk值在0.7~0.95之间,其中0.76~0.90之间占76.18%,其规律为:下游坡相同情况下,单宽流量越大,h/hk越大;单宽流量相同情况下,下游坡越缓,h/hk越大.实验结果为溢洪道水面线推求确定起始断面水深提供了参考.
