继大连港、湛江港之后,连云港和海口港,又分别在1985年1月和1985年4月,通过无鼠害港的技术鉴定。连云港是陇海铁路的终点,三面环山,一面临海,有三个码头,7个泊位,占地16万多平方米,主要承运粮食、矿砂、糖以及化肥、水泥、钢材和棉麻等。从1982年10月起,采用了查、饵、捕、毒、搜、饿、堵、核等综合措施,到1984年8月底,鼠密度由7.69%下降到0.078%,1984年11月复查,鼠密度为0.23%,撒粉105块,无阳性,检查鼠洞鼠迹105处,未见新出现者,达到了《国境口岸卫生监督办法》中
Following the ports of Dalian and Zhanjiang, Lianyungang and Haikou ports passed the technical appraisal of no-rat port again in January 1985 and April 1985, respectively.
