白红1号红小豆是我所于1979年系统选育而成。1986年3月经吉林省农作物品种审定委员会审定并命名。1983～1985年计17个点次试验。各年平均亩产分别为144.6、105.9和116.9公斤,比对照种红小豆153增产13.5％、6.5％和38.9％。在一般肥力条件下,亩产可达100公斤以上。如土质较好,水肥条件高,田间管理好,亩产可达150公斤以上。特征特性白红1号为中熟品种、出苗至成熟98～113天左右,籽粒长圆柱型,种皮红色,有光泽,脐白色,百粒重10～14克左右,蛋白质含量为23.4％。无限结荚习性、圆叶、花黄色,株高73～83厘米左右,分枝4～5个,荚熟时呈黄白色,不易裂荚。株型直立,抗倒伏, White red No. 1 red bean is my systematic breeding from 1979.
