改革耕作制度,增加复种指数,是充分利用光温资源,发掘土地潜力,培养和提高土壤肥力,实现多种、高产、多收的一项战略性的措施,是农业大上快上的重要途径。我省稻田大面积发展的一年三熟制,主要是麦、稻、稻和稻、稻、稻,此外,还有较大面积的薯、稻、稻,豆(黄豆、蚕豆、碗豆)稻、稻、麦、花生、稻等。这些一年三熟制中,如果禾本科谷类作物比例大,消耗地力较多。据粗略估计,假定三季连作稻,年亩产稻谷2000斤(谷秆比以1:1计,则稻秆亦有2000斤),一般要吸收N40斤,P_2O_520斤,K_2O50斤。如在中上肥田,稻株吸收的养分,约有50%来自土壤,50%靠肥料供应。土壤中N、P较缺,通过施用土杂肥或其他农家肥P、K容易得到满足,主要矛盾是N肥不足。而豆科作物能固定空气中的游离氮,对培养和提高土壤肥力有良好作用,特别是解决N肥问题是一条重要门路。花生是豆科作物,也是我省主要的油料作物,麦—花(生)—稻耕作制实践证明是可行的,近年各地试行
