2008年1月3日,联想集团发布了面向全球市场的消费电脑品牌Idea,正式宣布进军全球消费PC市场。2004年12月8日,联想宣布以总价12.5亿美元收购IBM的全球PC业务,从而拥有IBM长期打造的Think金字品牌,并可保有和使用IBM品牌标示5年时间。短短三年的时间,我们看到了联想迅速国际化的革新魄力。对于致力于成为一流国际电脑制造商的联想,Lenovo品牌真正的全球扩张进程终于开始了。
January 3, 2008, Lenovo Group released the consumer computer brand for the global market Idea, officially announced its entry into the global consumer PC market. On December 8, 2004, Lenovo announced that it has acquired IBM’s global PC business for a total of $ 1.25 billion to own the IBM Think Longword brand long-established by IBM and retain and use the IBM brand logo for five years.
