义类法是《义务教育常用词表(草案)》收词和分级的重要方法,有效弥补了频率、分布、使用度等方法的不足,使得收词更加全面,分级更为合理。《义务教育常用词表(草案)》分《音序表》和《义序表》,《义序表》在横向和纵向层级上呈现出词语间的语义关联,在语义关系网中构建起词汇的语义系统,同时也有利于构建起学习者的认知体系。《义序表》语义体系完整,义类排列科学,便于检索,有利于鉴别多义词义项,提供了间接释义方式,能够为义务教育语文教材词语的选取和分级、词汇的教与学提供依据和参照。
