Intravenous injection of soybean leaf saponin (Ts) has a significant effect on the reduction of arterial blood pressure in rats and shows a dose-effect relationship. This antihypertensive effect is not counteracted by atropine and does not reduce the pressure-boosting effect of norepinephrine, indicating that soybean leaf saponin The antihypertensive effect is neither excited by the M receptor nor blocked by the alpha receptor, and may be the result of other receptors or direct vasodilator effects. When arterial blood pressure is low, Ts increases the left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP), the maximum rate of change in the intraventricular pressure (+dp/dtmax), arterial systolic pressure (SAP), and arterial diastolic pressure (DAP) to varying degrees. Pressure (MAP) can be reduced by phentolamine and propranolol.
