The United States Air Force and the Army have chosen Sierra Technologies Inc. to upgrade their aircraft survivability training systems as the Air Force’s unmanned threat source, UMTE (AN / TPT- [V]), and Army Aircraft Survival Force Training System ASET IV (AN / TRQ-45) Retrofitting upgrades include adding night-vision to these simulated threats and adding the ability to emulate “dual-digit” SAM technology.
