On August 24, 2002, an exhibition on the exchange of children’s drawings between China and Japan was held in the Traditional Chinese Painting School of Jiangsu Province. The youngest exhibitor was only 4 years old. The dramatic differences in content and presentation between the two children’s paintings in the exhibition aroused the concern of art and education circles in Jiangsu Province.
