一九二一年七月一日,中国共产党在上海召开第一次全国代表大会,到会有毛泽东、董必武、陈潭秋等十二代表,宣布中国共产党正式成立。一九二二年五月,党在杭州召开第二次代表大会。一九二三年二月七日党领导京汉铁路工人进行反军阀的大流血斗争。六月,党在广州召开第三次代表大会。一九二四年,孙中山在党帮助下,召开民党第一次全国代表大会,接受了党提出的革命纲领。一九二五年一月,党在上海召开第四次代表大会。五月,“五卅惨案”。六月,省港大罢工。一九二六年,广东湖南等地在党的领导下展开大规模农民运动。七月,北代开始。
On July 1, 1921, the Chinese Communist Party held its first national congress in Shanghai and there were twelve representatives, including Mao Zedong, Dong Biwu and Chen Tanqiu, declaring the formal establishment of the Communist Party of China.
