近15年来,各公司已经根本改变了他们的管理特点。全面质量管理(TQM)在这种根本性的变化中起着主导作用,并取得了极好的效果。可以预见,这种趋势将在今后至少10年的质量管理工作中处于支配地位。 全面质量管理前景研究的10个方面是: (1)质量改进循环率 在今后10年激烈的市场竞争中,质量改进可能不适应形势的需要。以某种循环速度进行的质量改进现在正成为现实。这种质量改进采用的形式是多种多样的,包括样本概念到部门间的改进。 (2)全产业和全功能展开 目前,各个公司正将TQM的概念和方法向所有的功能扩展。正开展的工作项目覆盖的其他产业如保健卫生、大学、研究与开发,乃至法律职能。 (3)产品设计和工艺技术 多少年来,西方国家一直将注意力集中在产品设计上,而工艺设计仅作为第二位的侧重点。时至今天,他们的注意点很快从产品设计转移到设计新工艺、工艺改建。运用田口方法(Taguchi methods)进行产品和工艺的健壮设计(Robust design)是目前的热门。在产品设计、价格技术、产品和工艺的接口设计和控制等方面所花的气力是很少的。
In the past 15 years, companies have fundamentally changed their management characteristics. Total Quality Management (TQM) plays a leading role in this fundamental change and has achieved excellent results. It can be foreseen that this trend will dominate the quality management work for at least the next 10 years. The ten aspects of the overall quality management prospect study are: (1) Quality improvement cycle rate In the fierce market competition in the next 10 years, quality improvement may not meet the needs of the situation. Quality improvement at some cyclical speed is now becoming a reality. This type of quality improvement takes a variety of forms, from sample concepts to inter-office improvements. (2) The whole industry and full-featured deployment At present, various companies are extending the concept and methods of TQM to all functions. Other industries covered by ongoing work projects include health care, universities, research and development, and even legal functions. (3) Product design and process technology For many years, western countries have been focusing on product design, and process design is only the second priority. As of today, their attention has quickly shifted from product design to designing new processes and process alterations. The Robust design of products and processes using the Taguchi methods is currently a hot topic. There is little effort in the interface design and control of product design, price technology, products and processes.
