盆地不同生态条件下形成的多热带状种植形式主要有;(1) 盆东,;盆中伏旱区 小麦=玉米=红苕三熟带状套作型;(2)盆南夏伏旱交错地带小麦=高粱=红苕三熟带状套作型;(3)盆西冬干、春旱、夏旱、秋凉区小麦—玉米+红苕二熟带状间作型;(4)中低山地带(700～1,100米)马铃薯=玉米+大豆二熟套作型;(5)川中棉区 小春=棉花二熟粮棉套作型;(6)城镇郊区 麦(菜、饲料)=玉米(菜)=红苕(菜、饲料)粮菜(饲)间套型.这些形式又可分为两大类;一类是以玉米为中心的三熟套作型,一类是以棉花、烟草、花生等经济作物为中心的二熟套作型.其开厢宽度和种植规格也分别围绕这两类作物加以安排和调整.作者对盆地不同生态条件下多热带植的发展趋势提出了8点探讨性意见.
