Preface Communication system is an important basic platform for smart grid construction. With the rapid development of smart grid, the construction of distribution network communication system adapting to it becomes extremely urgent. In order to meet the requirements of reliability, security, real-time and scalability of distribution network information, EPON communication technology, which is economically reasonable and mature in technology, is widely used in our country as the communication system of smart grid.
